The MD is responsible and provides direct psychiatric and medical assessment and treatment through comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning and discharge planning for consumers; provide consultation, as needed to other mental health professionals by clinical supervision; education and training; and development, maintenance and supervision of medication and psychiatric and medical treatment policies and procedures.Cognitive form of learning additionally, they will provide supervision and have aprns work under their protocols.
