08:15 DEILD - Dream Exit Initiated Lucid Dream social learning and social cognitive theory
Hey everyone! So I have been trying to lucid dream for about six months now. For the first few months, I kept trying a couple methods, but then I eventually stumbled upon DEILD.Social learning and social cognitive theory I tried it the first night and I had my first LD! I only used a mantra and woke up in the middle of the night, staying still and keeping my eyes closed.Social learning and social cognitive theory I then thought about my previous dream and in about 5 seconds, I was in my lucid dream. (I did a reality check to make sure) I didn't even open my eyes, and it still felt like real life.Social learning and social cognitive theory I then got really scared, since it was my first LD, and forced myself to wake up. But after that night, I am having trouble having deilds. I can still wake up in the middle of the night with my eyes closed, but sometimes I move.Social learning and social cognitive theory also, I am unable to concentrate on previous dreams for some reason. I think it's because I can't just relax and trust myself to concentrate enough, but I also think I try too hard to concentrate sometimes.Social learning and social cognitive theory like my heart is beating and I just get really worried that I won't get a DEILD that night. I really don't know what to do, it's been many months now and I have not had any other deilds.Social learning and social cognitive theory how do I just relax and concentrate on my previous dreams??? Thanks. Hey everyone! I really don't know what to do, it's been many months now and I have not had any other deilds.Social learning and social cognitive theory how do I just relax and concentrate on my previous dreams??? Thanks. Just so you know, the following may happen: if you DIELD without remebering your last dream or picturing a new dream scene then you may fall asleep before your mind has had a chance to 'spool' up a new dream scene.Social learning and social cognitive theory what may happen is that your dream may begin in your bedroom so if you think your deild has not worked then make sure to do a reality check social learning and social cognitive theory Many times i have though that my dield has not worked and that im laying there awake. I then nose plug just for the sake of it and find that im actually dreaming with my bedroom as the dream scene.Social learning and social cognitive theory you can then get up and flyaway. Some people call this an obe (out of body experience) but thats just plain nonsense, its a lucid dream like any other.Social learning and social cognitive theory over time you will meet with many different scenarios when deilding and its a case of learning and recognizing each one and what to do. Totally.Social learning and social cognitive theory always nose plug in case of false awakenings. I remember one time nose plugging in my bed and then check my hands. I think I got too excited though as much a my hand were not there but I definitely knew I was dreaming.Social learning and social cognitive theory I got up went out my bedroom door and had a fly around etc. I have not done this much and the reason maybe that I tend to think I have to wake up when I wake up if you like.Social learning and social cognitive theory my friend says never go to the toilet when you wake up at night cause then you wont be able to go back to sleep again. Instead I am going to look at my eyelids and go back to sleep.Social learning and social cognitive theory my awareness though is so poor and I am programmed to fit into the world and just do the right thing for others rather than it being my own choice.Social learning and social cognitive theory although this helps me get on well with my family etc it is not operating out of the awareness I need for more lucids. I basically take things as being very real, me as being real and have no awareness to make the right decisions more just following rules to get along therefore even though I have good dream recall I think my decisions and what happens in a dream are really important and take everything very seriously.Social learning and social cognitive theory I won't be able to DIELD too easily like this only for the fact of knowing that I have woken up and knowing that I have fallen back to sleep together with the repeated use of reality checks.Social learning and social cognitive theory
